San
Jose California is the 10th largest city in the US and the second
largest one in California. If you are going to buy some San Jose Real
Estate there you need to be prepared. That means have your finances in
order before you seriously go look at homes. Inventory may be adequate
but to get a good deal on the house you want, both your realtor and the
seller must be convinced that your loan and down payment are ready to
go.
Find
a San Jose Realtor with adequate local experience. A lot of people went
into real estate since the mid 2000s, but do they have the experience
you are looking for? You need a San Jose Realtor who is well versed in
the many neighborhoods of the south bay so he can find the best one for
you, and find the home with a good floorplan for you in that community.
Understand
what is most important to you in a home. Right down a list of the most
important facets and label them from one to ten in importance. You
should first visit a number of homes with your realtor so that you can
create your list. Once you start looking at homes and make the list,
then you can focus on what areas seem to fit you and/or your family
best. Be willing to compromise, because no home is perfect. Use a homes
imperfections to get a better deal from the seller. Be willing to make
some cosmetic repairs. Once you find your dream home, make a list of
things that need to be fixed Always get own section one(termites and dry
rot etc)and home inspections before you remove your contingencies. This
will save you a lot of grief if you missed any potential repair issues.
Sometimes the seller will have inspections available to you, but I
always recommend getting your own inspection anyways from a reputable
inspection company you or your realtor picks out.
